There are various way of Teaching Tai Chi with different focus. The following is my style of teaching:-

Firstly my prime objective is to teach the relaxation arts of Tai Chi. To move away from a sense of rushing and more into enjoyment and focus.
We all have the ability to move into a calm state of mind, all we need are the tools to do so. Once in a calmer state, one realises just how much we’ve missed being in that peaceful state.

I focus on basics and then building the layers over time. Most skills are multilayered. However, building those layers takes time. Once a basic skill is learned one is ready to add the next layer to it.

My way of approaching and practicing Tai Chi is to move my mind into a state with minimal thoughts. I try to practice Tai Chi in a state of heightened awareness. This is achieved by making “moving into awareness” my primary goal for the whole day. When I go off into a dream, as soon as I’m aware I’ve done so, I’m already practicing awareness.

I believe in including Chi Gong and Meditation as well. I also include Nei Gong exercises as well.

As I have had exposure to many styles, I have included some of the best ideas from each style. The first half of the class which includes Silk- reeling exercises, joint opening exercises and Chi breathing exercises.

More than Physical Movements
Tai Chi goes in various directions. My chosen directions are as follows:

1/ To share my findings on my own personal path of Tai Chi

2/ To impart the beauty of Tai Chi to connect one to their spirit in a gentle way.

3/ To deliver Tai Chi to those who want to just come along and just chill out only learning more if desired.

4/ To teach those who wish to learn the more complex and traditional Tai Chi forms.

5/ To Introduce the amazing healing and calming power of Qi Gong.

6/ To teach a form and have that form bedded in for life due to it’s power and simplicity of learning and execution.
